De breakstick is gemaakt van een kunststofsoort die niet gevaarlijk is voor mens en dier, deze kunststofsoort wordt veelal gebruikt in de voedsel industrie. Doordat het materiaal vrij zacht is, is er veel minder kans op beschadiging van het gebit.

Elke bezitter van een powerdog zou deze bij zich moeten dragen! Je hoopt de stick natuurlijk nooit nodig te hebben, maar better safe than sorry.

Let op, door verkeerd gebruik kan het gebit van de hond beschadigen. Maar een gebroken kies is minder erg dan een zwaar gewonde of dode hond en weer een krantenkop!
